Push sticks and Push Blocks are intended to take some of this danger away from your fingers. They allow you to rip and shape smaller pieces with more safety.
The push stick is designed to:
- Assist with ripping material on a table saw
- Allows the application of a downward pressure
- The application of a forward pressure
- Helps keep hands further away from the blade
The push block is ideal for shaping or jointing applications. It allows you to apply a great deal of downward and forward pressure.
